Read more...Colette knows that curiosity is the well-spring of life, so she never stops learning. She brings 2,000 hours of bodywork training, as well as over a dozen years as a Bowen Therapist, to her practice in downtown Prescott, AZ.
She turned to bodywork in the early 1990’s as a client seeking relief from unremitting back pain. She has since graduated from massage and Feldenkrais training programs, as well as pursuing Bones for Life and advanced level Bowen studies.
Colette loves working with people and is a natural teacher. Private sessions at her office frequently include tips or mini-explorations to assist clients in clarifying the movement habits that may be contributing to their pain. Ultimately, she sees her role as supporting those who want to take personal charge of feeling good.
In addition to working with individual clients on a variety of structural and stress related issues, Colette offers Bowenwork Intro classes and BodyIntelligence classes to the general public.
As an Associate Instructor with the ABA, she teaches in a way that students “get it” , and can go home to make it a true part of their lives. Since Bowen is so easily adapted to everyday life, Colette is excited to offer these basic skills to anyone who wants to join her in making the world feel better, one person at a time.
Please consult her website for more information regarding private appointments or classes. She’d love to hear from you.
