Word-of-mouth brought me to Bowenwork as I was looking for someone who could straighten bowed legs following chemotherapy for my boyfriend. I had learned through my research that Bowenwork was a gentler form of muscle and tissue manipulation versus the other modalities one might consider. Eventually he did try Bowenwork, and then I tried it also for a few issues with much success. Being that my background was in various healing modalities, and a secret ambition to do healing/therapy work full-time, along with encouragement and shadowing my Bowenwork mentor in her Bowenwork practice, I decided to work towards becoming a Bowenwork Practioner; I should be completing my studies by April 2024. I look forward to helping people with this fascinating and gentle healing/treatment option.
