Modules 8-12
Advanced Curriculum
Modules
Modules 8 through 12 include 40+ new procedures and help you build your understanding of how and when to use certain moves. All classes below count towards American Bowen Academy continuing education credits and many of them also satisfy the requirement for practitioners to regularly review the basic work.
Notes:
All of the modules consist of two 8-hour days of instruction.
These modules must be taken in sequence.
Module 8 is a review of all the material taught in Modules 1-6, with an emphasis on deepening students’ understanding of how to use procedures in a clinical setting, marketing, and business practices. Module 8 includes four new procedures, Ossie’s Handy Hints, and a discussion of practitioners’ clinical cases.
Prerequisites:
Completion of Module 7 at least three months earlier
Module 9 covers 12 new procedures that are helpful for the more persistent and unusual symptoms that clients present.
Prerequisites:
• Completion of Module 7 at least nine months earlier
• Completion of Module 8
• Fulfillment of all requirements for certification as a Professional Bowenwork Practitioner
Module 10 includes written and practical assessments of the Module 9 material and a hands-on demonstration of all procedures learned.
A Specialized Procedures 1 certificate is issued upon successful completion of this module.
Prerequisites: Completion of Module 9 at least six months earlier and 30 log hours documented.
Module 11 further reinforces the “less is best” principle that makes Bowenwork so effective. The material offers much to the experienced practitioner with more than 30 additional procedures.
Prerequisites: Module 10 certificate of completion
Module 12 includes a written and practical assessment of the Module 11 material only, plus a hands-on demonstration of all procedures learned.
A Module 12 certificate is issued upon successful completion of this module.
Prerequisites: Completion of Module 11 at least six months earlier and 30 log hours documented.
